Clutter: it’s a love/hate kind of thing. To some it symbolizes moments of collection from meaningful memories. To others it’s a roadblock to productive days and effective relationships. Whether you’re looking for reorganization of sentimental items you could not bear to give up, or ready to bravely embrace the familiar adage, “out with the old and in with the new”, I’m here to help.
Cleaning vs. Tidying (yes, there’s a difference!)
When preparing to list your house, it is imperative that you realize that your home will be under a (radically judgmental) microscope for the duration of the listing period. This means no cupboard, appliance, or closet, is safe. That expired ketchup that you’ve pushed further and further to the back of the fridge hoping it will walk to the garbage itself? Toss it. That old figure skating sweater that has been sitting in a ball in the corner of your closet since you moved in? Wash and fold it. Oh - and appliances have self-cleaning features for a reason, people. Take advantage.
Tidying is another story… and one I prefer to tell, myself. Remember that old figure skating sweater? That’s the sweet spot for this gal. Give me all the sweaters, towels, pillows, and duvets! Just sit back and watch me do my thing.
Client privilege.
If you have chosen me as your listing agent, staging is an added bonus that I provide to my clients at no additional charge.
Independent services.
If you are not ready to list your home, but rather simply interested in decluttering and or/organizing certain rooms or closets, I can absolutely help. Although most of my clients jointly utilize my housing market expertise with the complimentary staging that is included, I do happily offer organization services that are independent from real estate.
